Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous TV shows. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents left for the US and were given asylum. She is the middle daughter with two brothers and sisters, and was brought up within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her TV career by being featured in National Commercials. Ghanizada was nominated for best actress at the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she was the character Chiara. She was also an actress in numerous television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. In recent times, she was in independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 as well as the science-fiction action film Blood Shot. Ghanizada was a part of her role in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that aired on prime time television.
